The purpose of this study ids to investigate the influence of Think, Predict, Read, Connect (TPRC) strategy toward students' reading comperhension on the descriptive text at the eight grade and the students reading comperhension before and after being taught by using TPRC in teaching reading comperheansion of descriptive text to the second grade of junior high school.
