Writing skill is very important for students, especially in writing descriptive text. On the other hand, it is difficult for students in junior high school. Based on Novita (2017) they have some difficulties in writing descriptive text . Such as 1) gerenic structure; 2) grammar; 3) spelling. Many students make mistakes when they write essays.
